Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is collected, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. It covers buildwithnkr.com and any mobile or web application published under the Build with NKR name.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Build with NKR is a sole proprietorship operated by Naveen Kumar in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR — Naveen Kumar is the data fiduciary and controller.

2. This website
buildwithnkr.com is a single static page. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form, no shopping cart, no advertising and no analytics. It sets no cookies of its own and does not build a profile of you.
Two things still happen automatically when any website is served, and you should know about them:

Nothing you do on this website is stored by me. If you email or message me, I hold that correspondence — see section 4.
3. Applications published by Build with NKR
To be completed before any app is submitted to Google Play or the App Store. The section below must state exactly what your app does, and match the Data Safety declaration in Play Console. An inaccurate policy is itself a Play policy violation.

Personal data is never sold, and is never shared with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Permissions
Where an application requests a device permission, it is requested at the moment the feature needs it, and the app explains why. You may decline or later revoke any permission in your device settings; only the feature that depends on it stops working. [[ list each permission the app requests and the feature it powers ]]
4. If you contact me
When you email hello@buildwithnkr.com, message me on WhatsApp, or connect on LinkedIn, I receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, contact details and a description of your project. I use it only to reply to you and to carry out work you engage me for.
That correspondence sits with the relevant provider (email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn), each of which operates under its own privacy policy. I keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it may be commercially relevant, and project records for as long as required for tax and contractual purposes, then delete it.
5. Legal basis for processing
- Legitimate interests — serving and protecting the website, and responding to enquiries you initiate.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver work you have engaged me for.
- Consent — where an application asks for a device permission or optional data. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- Legal obligation — where records must be retained under tax or accounting law.
6. International transfers
This site is delivered by a global content delivery network, so requests may be served from infrastructure outside India. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards its provider offers, including standard contractual clauses.
7. Security
All traffic to this website and to applications is served over HTTPS. Access to any system holding personal data is restricted to me. No system is perfectly secure, but data is held only where there is a reason to hold it, and deleted when there is not.
8. Children
Neither this website nor its applications are directed at children under 13 — or under 18 where local law sets a higher threshold, including under India's DPDP Act. Personal data is not knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact hello@buildwithnkr.com and it will be deleted promptly.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- ask what personal data is held about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- object to or restrict processing;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, where the DPDP Act allows it;
- complain to your data protection authority — in India, the Data Protection Board.
To delete an account or its data, use the data deletion request page. Any other request can go to hello@buildwithnkr.com. Requests are answered within 30 days, and there is no charge.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published at this address and the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be communicated directly where I hold a way to reach you.
